Want to understand what all the MotoGP fuss is about, but do not know where to start?
The bikes are blisteringly fast, the calendar spans the globe, and there are more than twenty riders on the grid. For newcomers, it can feel a little overwhelming.
My advice? Do not try to learn everything at once. Pick one or two riders to follow and let their story guide you through the season.
Think of MotoGP as a travelling soap opera played out at 230mph. There are heroes, villains, friendships, rivalries, heartbreaks and comebacks. Once you become invested in the people behind the helmets, the racing becomes impossible to resist.
Before long, you will find yourself understanding the rivalries, celebrating the victories and feeling the heartbreak of the crashes.
