Waterproof Dry Bags

If there's one thing you can rely on in the UK, it's that eventually you'll ride through rain. A proper waterproof dry bag keeps your clothes, sleeping bag and camping gear dry, even if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Choosing the Right Size

Rather than buying the biggest bag available, think about how you'll pack it.

  • 10–20 litres – Day rides or valuables.

  • 30 litres – A weekend's clothing and toiletries.

  • 40–50 litres – Tent, sleeping bag and spare clothes for a festival.

  • 60 litres or more – Longer touring holidays or two-up camping.

Many riders find one 40–50 litre bag easier to manage than several smaller bags.

Use small packing cubes or coloured dry bags inside your main luggage. Instead of emptying everything to find a clean T-shirt or your toiletries, you can grab exactly what you need in seconds.
